Tamilnadu Public Service Commission is conducting group4 exams. The applications are invited for the post of junior assistant, bill collector, typist, steno-typist, field surveyor, and draftsman. The candidates can apply online on or before 15^th July, 2013.

DETAILS:

Total number of vacancies: 5566.

NAME OF THE POSTS:

1. Junior assistant (Non-security):3469 vacancies are available for the post of junior assistant.

2. Junior assistant (Security):62 vacancies.

3. Bill-collector, Grade-I: 19 vacancies.

4. Typist: 1738 vacancies.

5. Steno-typist, grade-III: 242 vacancies

6. Field surveyor: 06 vacancies.

7. Draftsman: 30 vacancies.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION (common for all posts):

The candidates must have passed S.S.L.C public examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to higher secondary course or to college course.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION:

(a)    For typist: the candidates must have passed the government technical examination in typewriting.

(b)   For steno-typist, grade III: the candidates must have passed the government technical examination both in typewriting and in shorthand.

(c)    Computer qualification (for typist and steno- typist grade III): the candidates should have passed the certificate course in computer on office automation.

(d)   Preference:  the candidates with ITI qualification will be given preference for the post of field surveyor.

WRITTEN EXAMINATION (OBJECTIVE TYPE):

Subjects: General studies (S.S.L.C STANDARD), Aptitude Test. +

General Tamil/General English (S.S.L.C STANDARD)

Minimum qualifying marks for selection:

90

Fee:

For all post: examination fees: Rs.75/

Cost of application: Rs.50/

The candidates who are claiming exemption from examination fee should pay only Rs.50 only for the application.

Last date to submit the application: 15.07.2013

Last date for payment of fee: 17.7.2013

Date of written examination: 25.08.2013.

The candidates can pay fee either through bank or post office.
