India’s toughest exams IIT-JEE main exam results 2013 will be going to declared on May 7 2013. More than 12 lac students were appeared in the exams & only top 1,50,000 student will be selected for appearing in JEE Advanced exams. On the basis of the performance of the student in JEE Main 2013 result, they will be getting a national rank & this will be their hope for admission in IIT’s & other leading graduate courses. IIT keeps on changing its pattern every year this year it divided the exam into IIT -JEE mains 2013 and IIT JEE Advanced.

This result will comprise of the actual marks obtained in JEE Main 2013 along with the list of 1,50,000 qualified students qualified for JEE Advanced Exam based on Selection Procedure of JEE Advanced. Only 150000 top Rankers in JEE mains ranking, which includes candidates from all categories ( general, OBC, SC, ST.) will be allowed to appear in JEE Advanced 2013.

IIT-JEE main exam results 2013 and Rank Card : Important dates

All India Rank, Category Rank of JEE Main: May 8, 2013.

JEE Main Rank Card on Website: May 8, 2013

Rank Card by Post: July 12, 2013

In case of non-receipt of the rank card within the stipulated period, candidate may apply for duplicate rank card along with the payment of Rs. 50/- ( postal charges of Rs. 30/- for outstation candidates) through Demand Draft in favour of Secretary, CBSE, payable at Delhi/New Delhi between 01.08.2013 to 31.08.2013.

Steps to Download your JEE main rank card :

Use Internet Explorer as your browser (IE version 6 or Above)

Go to official website –>> www.jeemain.nic.in

find JEE Main 2013 Results.

Put your Registration Number/ Date of birth and other required details.

To Get a print out Make sure that your printer is connected to your system.

If you don’t have printer when your score card displays press CTRL+PRNTSCR key from your key board and paste it in you Ms Paint.

IIT-JEE main exam results 2013 – Total number of Seats

The total number of seats in 15 IIT’s & one IIT BHU & One ISM dhanbad are 9649 for B.Tech courses has increased this year. While the seats available in 30 NIT’s for undergraduate courses are 15678 including the seats in the new ones. Therefore a candidate rank of under 25,000 in JEE advanced exams can get a desired seat in a good college.
