Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is a Governmental University in India. It has a great campus of 467 Hectare . It is situated in city of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. It’s architecture has wide variety. This university has very old history, it grew in 1857 (Indian War of Independence) by the help Sir Syed Ahmad Khan. It is important that time to gain education for Muslims. In 1864, Sir Syed Ahmad Khan prepare foundation for starting a school. After few Years in 1875, it become a collage Muhammadan Anglo Oriental Collage. Then finally it became a university in 1920 for Muslims.
